fuck ? whats with teachers and parents man ?
why every year chinese dance also kena say one.
in the past, people say chinese dancers are ah lians, all short skirts, all tuck out uniform, fringe super long.
we tried super hard to change our image.
we force juniors to pin up fringe, we have attire checks every month,
we have so many many many dance rules.
we are forced to tie center patring with a bun and go to senior's class if we are caught for fringe.
how embarrassing it is in front of seniors. ~
our weekly trainings are super tough.
often, we suffered from muscles aches and pain.
our discipline camp was very tough and demanding.
push ups after push ups, tears dropped like water tap ~
i remembered how my seniors pumped us in the middle of parade square, sun was glaring brightly.
my sweat was dripping down my face, on to the floor.
i remembered how seniors scolded us in dance studio, ask us to stay in diam position for super long.
how they scolded us till we wanted to cry.
we tried so hard, year after year, just to discipline our juniors.
to keep up the image of chinese dance.
seniors got gold for syf every year.
from my batch onwards, we got gold with honour for the school.
now, dance alumni is set up.
but if the security guards let other cca people go into the school except us.
and say that they cant let strangers anyhow go in.
why set up alumni??
this year, we are scolded again.
our modern dance too sexy, we danced same item for many times,
wear same costume or different costume also criticize,
parents complain that we should be more conservative, we are immature.
being able to dance sexily for modern dance and still obtain gold with honours
for chinese dance twice just show how talented how good YTCD is.
why are dancers always the topic of gossips :(
